Bird Office Hours: Member of: ![]() Associated General Contractors of Kansas | ![]() We at Danny Satterfield Drywall take pride not only in the drywall services that we offer to Wichita, KS and its surrounding areas; we take great pride in our commitment to support our community as well. We strive to be active in our community through donating our services to projects such as Habitat for Humanity, the AGC Training Center, and local churches and through the monetary support of ministries and organizations such as the Special Olympics, NAWIC, Calvary's Rock Church, and Mark and Vickie Alexander, missionaries to Togo, Africa. One ministry that we are particularly proud to support is Teen Challenge. Teen Challenge is the oldest, largest, and most successful program of its kind in the world. Established in 1958 by David Wilkerson, Teen Challenge has grown to more than 170 centers in the United States and 250 centers world-wide. The purpose of Teen Challenge is to evangelize people who have life-controlling problems and initiate the discipleship process to the point where the student can function as a Christian in society, applying spiritually motivated Biblical principles to relationships in the family, local church, chosen vocation, and the community. Teen Challenge endeavors to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive. Studies have shown a 70-86% cure rate for Teen Challenge graduates. Danny Satterfield Drywall supports Teen Challenge through two Kansas Teen Challenge Centers. Teen Challenge of the Midwest, directed by Dennis Mehlhaff, with a center, Heartland Teen Challenge, located in Alton, KS serves as a group-home for adult men 18+ years of age. Main Place Youth, directed by Dottie Freeman, is located in Kingman, KS and is a group-home working with girls between the ages of twelve and eighteen. Please contact these organizations for more information on how you can help change lives.
